With the announcement from the UK government, CoSchools have set about creating content to support teachers and school leaders with the provision of carbon dioxide (CO2) monitors, including four short videos, a poster and an editable presentation.
Project CO-TRACE is a collaboration between the Universities of Cambridge, Surrey and Imperial College London, working together to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in schools through monitoring and evaluation of mitigation measures.
The CO-TRACE mission to make schools healthier through air quality science is being continued through the new SAMHE project. SAMHE aims to establish a network of air quality monitors in schools across the UK. The data gathered will provide evidence for better national policies and practice, but more than that, SAMHE enables pupils to interact with real world data about their own classroom air quality through a specially designed interactive Web App. Visit the SAMHE website to learn more.
